Livistona speciosa is native from Southern China to Vietnam, Myanmar, Bangladesh, Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore
This beautiful, large and stately palm from lowland and montane forests between southern China and the Malay Peninsula produces a dense crown of very large, flat, circular leaves that are only shallowly divided, and a tall, columnar, gray trunk. The large seeds are easy to germinate and plants are suitable for a wide range of climates, from warm temperate to tropical. It is still rarely seen in cultivation, but has enormous potential as a landscape plant
نخل لیویستونا استوایی گونه ای نخل بلند قد بومی مناطق استوایی شرق آسیا است.
این نوع نخل تحمل خشکی خوبی دارد و در مناطق خشک به عنوان درختی زینتی کاشته میشود
این درخت تا 25 متر رشد میکند. شاخه گل دهنده این نخل 3 متر رشد میکند
میوه های آن آبی طوسی رنگ و 2 سانتی متر هستند که هر کدام یک عدد بذر دارد
برگهای این نوع نخل بسیار زیبا و بادبزنی هستند شیار هم کم عمق هستند و برگ حالتی دایره ای است
