خرمالو مخملی یا سیب مخملی گونه ای گرمسیری از خانواده خرمالوییان است
میوه های آن درشت و قرمز رنگ و با ظاهری پرز دار مثل کیوی بسیار خوشبو و خوشمزه هستند
بعد از رسیده شدن و قرمز رنگ شدن میوه ها بسیار خوشمزه هستند ولی در حالت سبز و نارس گس هستند
این درخت گرمسیری است و تحمل سرما را ندارد
