Ptychosperma cuneatum is a small, thin stemmed solitary palm 3-5m. in height; and stems 2-3 cm. in diameter. Native to Papua New Guinea rainforest. This species has caryotoid leaflets and new leafs are red. Fruit are black

شاخه های این درخت بلند و باریک شبیه شاخه بامبو است.
