Archontophoenix alexandrae, commonly known as Alexandra palm, king palm, northern bangalow palm, or feather palm, is a palm endemic to Queensland, Australia. It was named in honour of Princess Alexandra of Denmark, but is often erroneously referred to by the misnomer Alexander palm. The Kuku Yalanji people of Far North Queensland would eat the palm heart of this species
نخل پادشاه گونه ای زیبا و کمیاب از نخل است که بیشتر به خاطر شکوه زیبای آن کاشته میشود
مردم محلی استوایی مرکز ساقه این نخل را میخورند مانند پنیر نخل خرما در ایران
ولی میوه های قرمز رنگ آن برای انسان خوراکی نیستند گرچه برخی پرنده ها همین میوه ها را می خورند
